ITI Curriculum

Objectives of the Curriculum

The Curriculum aims to:
  • Achieve cognitive, affective and psychomotor excellence.

  • Enhance self-awareness and explore innate potential.

  • Promote Life Skills, goal setting, and lifelong learning.

  • Inculcate values and foster cultural learning in international understanding in an interdependent society.

  • Acquire the ability to utilize technology and information for the betterment of humankind.

  • Strengthen knowledge and attitude related to livelihood skills.

  • Promote physical fitness, health and well-being.

  • Promote arts integrated learning.

Admission Criteria 

Admission of candidates will be made in the month of June / July every year as per the Central Govt. rules.

The regular training will begin from the first working day of August every year.

QUALIFICATION FOR ADMISSION​

  • Physical Standard : As prescribed by NCVT from time to time (Fit to work for 8 hrs per day)

  • Educational qualification : SSLC pass or equivalent

  • The candidate selected for admission should submit their original marks card, cumulative record, transfer certificate & other testimonials as detailed further, and the prescribed fees at the time of admission. The original certificates will be returned only after the completion of the course or on payment of fees due for the full term of TWO YEARS. Fees/donation once paid will not be returned under any circumstances.

 

ATTENDANCE

 

  • Every trainee has to maintain a minimum of 80 percent attendance in each subject compulsorily.

  • A trainee who does not maintain 80 percent of attendance will not be permitted to appear for All India Trade Test.

DURATION AND AWARD OF CERTIFICATE

  • Courses offered are of One or Two Years of Duration.

  • The final All India Trade Test (AITT) is conducted by the NCVT after completion of the prescribed period of training and the successful trainees are awarded the National Trade Certificate issued by the Union Ministry of Labour & Employment.

  • The National Trade Certificates are recognised for recruitment to the subordinate posts & services under the Govt. of India for which a certificate in CRAFTSMANSHIP is prescribed as the requisite qualification
